Panthera Esports has claimed the Philippine Collegiate Championship National League Season 2 crown after defeating the NU bulldogs 3-1 in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang grand finals.
The team, composed of Syrell “Chuuya Gemu” Rabara, Christian “Ramee” Tiglao, Charles Ryan “Saint Mocha” Robianes, Jerzy “Jerzy” Esguerra, and Jehoram Kish “Azelff” Espinosa, did not lose a single match in the round-robin stage or semifinals. In the finals, NU Bulldogs was able to steal one game (game 3) before being put away 11-7 in game four.
After winning game four, Panthera Esports won the top prize of P100,000. Panthera qualified for the National League Finals after finishing in the top two of the Luzon qualifiers. The team then topped Group B with a perfect 4-0 record in the National League Finals’ first phase before it swept DHVSU Honorians 2-0 to earn a spot in the grand finals.
