Adrian Broner And Manny Pacquiao Take Turns Throwing Methophorical Jabs

With the next big World Boxing Association (WBA) event drawing near, headlining fighters Adrian Broner and Manny Pacquiao are taking turns with their fight predictions, and to nobody’s surprise, both fighters are saying that they will knock the other fighter out.

Pacquiao was first to make headlines when he said that he was looking for a knock out against his upcoming opponent Adrian Broner. In that report, Pacquiao went on to tell reports that he always wants to give his fans what they paid for and insinuated that a knockout win is what makes the sport of boxing great.

Broner recently released his rebuttal to the press stating that it may only take him one punch to put Pacquiao to sleep. Broner went on to add fuel to the fire by saying that Pacquiao has been put to sleep before, referring to his knock out loss against Juan Marquez on December, 8th, 2012. Broner also told reporters that Pacquiao is known for his fast punching skills, but he is known for his timing attack.

Like most professional fighters, Broner decided to start the trash talking at the official press release for the fight. There he stated that Pacquiao is a great fighter and that his top three best things are singing, promoting Hennessey, and planking. He went on to tell the audience that he doesn’t give a [expletive] that he is an eight-time world champion. Pacquiao decided to remain respectful and refused to comment on the trash talk.

Freddie Roach has been in Pacquiao’s corner since the fighter first made his way to the US. After the press release, he responded to Broner’s statements by saying that, first of all, they (Pacquiao, Roach) hope Broner shows up. Roach also told Fighthype.com that Broner wants to be Floyd Mayweather Jr. and that he is too cocky.

Manny Pacquiao has been a big ticket fighter for well over a decade now, and while he may have suffered some pivotal losses in the latter part of his career, he is still one of the best in the business and a sure bet for the boxing hall of fame.
